 You can, without any exaggeration, claim that Sweden in the last fifty years has gone from being a pure spirit and Aquavit country to one of the best and most knowledgeable wine countries in the whole World. To give you a few examples; the largest wine club, one of many, gather over 20.000 members and wine lovers. Every reputable newspaper has its own wine column and there are numerous specialised wine magazines. Add to that numerous televised wine tastings as well an almost uncountable number of wine and sommelier schools. You will then realise that there has been incredible increase of awareness about wine. A  Swede was even appointed as the Best Sommelier in the World not long ago.

 Good education, wine clubs and a generally high knowledge of and interest in wine have created very tough competition among importers in Sweden. To be successful you need not only to be up to the same level as your competitors, but also with the educated staff in both on- and off-trade. Not to mention demanding and updated consumers.

 This all requires that we are open-minded, creative and flexible and above all, up to speed with what is going on at home and abroad. We have to use our competences and creativity in order not to be left behind. We believe in long-term relations with our producers and it goes without saying that we have to be both profitable and sustainable to stay in business over time.

Our associates’ unique competence and experience gives us access to consulting wine making, participating in wine juries, an overview of the international wine trends, a very good relation to the Swedish retail monopoly and an extensive knowledge of how the Swedish market really works. 

We have also created our own solution for penetrating the on-trade. We aslo strongly believe in e-commerce where we know we are one of the leading companies within the wine business.
